RECEIVE THE LORD TODAY

The Best Decision You Will Ever Make!

A Christian is a person who has verbally, by faith, confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord, and has believed He physically came into the world, physically died at Calvary, physically rose from the dead after three days, and physically ascended to heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High. When you believe and confess that, you pass from spiritual death into spiritual life. What makes one a Christian is personally and individually accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

To be born again you must confess Jesus as Lord and believe that He is. When you ask Him into your heart, you are allowing Him to be the Lord of your life. Salvation takes place when a person listens to the salvation message, believes it, and makes a decision to receive Jesus into his or her heart.

Simple Steps To Salvation

1. Acknowledge in your heart that Jesus is Lord.

2. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

3. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and was raised three days later.

4. Repent of your sins and get baptized in the name of Jesus.

Prayer

"God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen."

How You Know You Are Saved

You can know you are a child of God today!

When you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, You Are Redeemed. You are not in the process of being redeemed. You Are Redeemed Now.

Many Christians live a life that is below standard. They do not claim their rightful privileges in Christ because they do not understand or realize that they have been made new. You must learn to see yourself as God sees you. You should not see yourself as Satan sees you or as other men see you. You are a new creature.

Let's examine what the Word of God says about us: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (II Corinthians 5:17)

Are you in Christ? The Bible says taht if you are in Christ, you are a new creation. You must undestand that "all things" refers to things in the spirit realm, not in the natural. In other words not all things in the flesh, or the body, are new. You are the same as you always were in the flesh. That is why you are still tempted. That's the reason why you can still yield to temptation. Your body has not been redeemed yet, physically.

It is not your body that's new-it is your spirit man. you are a new creature in the spirit, the inner man. And that is the part of you that responds to God. You must understand that God no longer holds you accountable for past sings. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.; (Romans 8 1:2).

You are worthy! You are righteous in Christ Jeus! When you start seeing yourself like that, the assurance you need will flood into your being. Start saying, "I am a son of God! I'm a son of the King! I am worthy!"

If you are a new creation, you are not what you used to be. If you feel like you're a sinner, then you ought to stop living like a sinner. Remember that all of your past life is gone. It's dead, buried, done away with. You are a child of God, The Most High King. You have been set freee from sin and its rule over you. God has forgotten about your past sin. He doesn't remember them anymore.

Thank Him for His mercy and walk on as a child of God. Take those things that God has made available to you through Christ's redemptive work on Calvary and begin to live the overcoming and victorious life.
